Steve feels “terrible” about the mistake. He has taken to his Twitter to apologise “wholeheartedly” to Miss Colombia, who had her heart broken on international television, Miss Philippines, who was stoked but felt really bad about it, and the viewers who cringed and squirmed while it all went down.
I’d like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible.

Secondly, I’d like to apologize to the viewers at that I disappointed as well. Again it was an honest mistake.

I don’t want to take away from this amazing night and pageant. As well as the wonderful contestants. They were all amazing.

Meanwhile we guess Australia kind of dodged a very embarrassing bullet. It was the highest hopes we’ve ever had since Jennifer Hawkins took out the Miss Universe crown over a decade ago, however, Australia’s Monika Radulovic just missed out on the title after making the final five.
The poor dear lost to Miss Colombia (winner-turned-runner-up), Miss Philippines (runner-up-turned-winner) and Miss USA after being asked about legalising marijuana in Australia during the question round. “The government should weigh up both sides,” Monika said, explaining that the drug has been able to help people in certain circumstances.
Congrats to the winners, runners-up and the winners who became runners-up and runners-up who became winners. The lot of you!
While you’re here, though, remember this?
