If you’re skeptical about buying a wedding dress from mass retailers like H&M, the new Conscious Collection could make you reconsider. The line, which hits stores April 7, features three wedding gowns that are simply breathtaking.

The new collection includes a turtleneck, long-sleeved style with intricate lace embroidery, a ruffled sleeveless gown with a ball skirt and pockets, and an ethereal draped dress with delicate embellishment. Each piece in the collection is made from eco-friendly fabric.

“Working with innovative sustainable materials and ornate embellishment, the collection is a layering of references, shapes and textures topped off by intensely decorative accessories and deco-inspired bijoux,” Ann-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at H&M, told Vogue UK.
And if that won’t convince you, allow the face of the collection, Julia Restoin-Roitfled (daughter of famed fashion editor Carine) to share her two cents: “It’s great to be able to have sustainable clothes that still look red carpet-ready,” she said. Indeed it is. Who knew being an H&M bride could be so glamorous?
