An Instagram post from the band’s official account showed drummer Chad Smith holding a clipboard with the title of the video and the name of its director: Hollywood actress Olivia Wilde.
Wilde, who is currently starring in HBO’s acclaimed rock ‘n’ roll themed drama Vinyl, is no stranger to directing. She was behind the video for No Love Like Yours by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, which was released earlier this year.
She confirmed her involvement with the band via a series of her own Instagram posts, featuring Chad Smith, Noelani Tsunami and a picture of Wilde herself.
