The girls of Blackpink remain out in full force, in an attempt to dominate the global fashion industry – and it’s working. The K-pop girl group consisting of members Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé have been welcomed with open arms by the world of fashion. It only took a matter of time for Jisoo to be signing on the dotted line with Christian Dior, Lisa with Celine, Rosé with Saint Laurent and Chanel was quick to snap up Jennie.
Magazine editors across the globe have also been shrewd enough to drop covers featuring the K-pop phenomenon, with the members of Blackpink having now fronted fashion titles ELLE, Vogue Hong Kong and Vogue Korea (to name a very VERY select few) within a short space of time – both on occasions together and on solo outings. More often than not, to capitalize on the massive success and immense fandom of the band, at least one member of Blackpink fronts a Korean fashion title just about every month. Impressed, much?
ELLE France is one of the latest fashion publication’s to give up their cover to one of Blackpink’s members, with Jennie Kim making an appearance on the magazine’s issue dated August 23, 2023. Captured by Camilla Akrans and styled by Park Min Hee, it should come as no surprise to see the South Korean singer, rapper and actress dressed in a pink Chanel (to which she is brand ambassador) jacket in the gorgeous cover image.
