Earlier this week (on Monday, May 6), stars from the world of fashion, film, music, sport and beyond descended upon New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, ahead of the opening of the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit. For what is largely considered fashion’s biggest night out, the celebratory event led to the archives of a whole multitude of fashion houses being raided. Ultimately bestowing upon us, the reawakening and reimagining of some truly spectacular pieces, in honor of “The Garden of Time” dress code. Florals for spring truly did prove to be somewhat… groundbreaking.
