Inspired by Adam Sandler, the laid-back casual “Sandlercore” dressing style has recently gone viral on TikTok, especially among Gen Z. As mentioned earlier, the veteran actor and comedian has recently reacted to becoming a fashion icon and setting a global fashion trend. He spoke to People Magazine at the New York City premiere of “Adam Sandler: Love You,” a brand-new Netflix stand-up special.

He shared his opinion regarding the trend and called it “accidental.” According to the outlet, Sandler said, “You know, this is an accidental thing, but here I am wearing goofy clothes, and I don’t know. I don’t think about it.”

The actor has further discovered that some individuals call the trend “Madam Sandler.” In this trend, people usually style Adam Sandler’s trademark baggy and long shorts, along with crop tops. To this, he remarked, “Crop top, I used to wear when I was young, I used to wear the half shirt.” The actor continued, “Now, it would not be great for anybody, but I get it. Comfortable.” Sandler also expressed that the combination felt like a good outfit choice.

Don’t forget to watch the stand-up special “Adam Sandler: Love You” on Netflix on August 27, 2024.
