Lauren Sánchez Glams up in Sheer Gown with Dramatic Trail at Kering Dinner

Lauren Sánchez made a fashion statement on September 9 when she arrived at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner in a black Oscar de la Renta gown. Sánchez looked glamorous at the event, flaunting the beautiful lace dress that hugged her silhouette and accentuated her sharp features.

Celebrities like Katy Perry, Salma Hayek, Lindsay Lohan, Dakota Johnson, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas also graced the red carpet event. The charity gala spotlights the best-dressed A-list celebrities and raises funds to promote women’s empowerment. The 2024 Kering Caring for Women dinner was hosted at The Pool in Manhattan. Gayle King served as the master of ceremonies. The star-studded event, which takes place every year during New York Fashion Week, celebrated its 3rd edition this year.

Lauren Sánchez sparks royalty with lace gown outfit at NY charity dinner

Lauren Sánchez, the fiancée of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, looked ethereal at the event. Page Six reported that the 54-year-old news reporter arrived at the dinner bash in a black, off-shoulder gown designed by Oscar de la Renta. The lace detailing made the body-hugging gown, which was adorned by black flowers, even more gothic. The slightly see-through dress also showed off a dramatic train at the bottom that trailed behind her as she walked.

Sánchez also opted to keep her look rather simple. She tied up her hair in a messy fashion, which flaunted her sharp collarbones. The media personality completed her ensemble with Jimmy Choo heels, which remained mostly obscure under her dramatic train, and diamond drop earrings. She even posted the look from the event on her Instagram, captioning it: “Nothing like getting all dressed up and enjoying good company to calm the pre-book jitters!”

Every year, the Kering Foundation collaborates with feminist icons, including philanthropists, activists, and artists, to bring effective changes. In 2024, they collaborated with three charitable organizations — Girl Effect, It’s On Us, and the National Network — to raise almost $3 million. The donations will go towards ending gender-centric violence. Apart from Oscar de la Renta, luxury houses like Gucci, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, and other Kering brands dressed the famous attendees who graced the event.
