At the 2024 Governors Awards, Nicole Kidman reinvented the classic black backless gown with a bejeweled Celine masterpiece by Hedi Slimane. The floor-length, long-sleeved gown featured daring peekaboo cutouts which are subtly revealing through a keyhole front. Bold slashes along the backless gown exposed Nicole Kidman’s toned shoulders, adding an elegant touch to the look. The twisted neckline with a bedazzled collar wrapped around her neck and dipped into a low-cut back, adding a sultry touch.

The Australian actor wore her long sandy blonde hair in a middle-parted style, exuding an effortless look. As for her makeup, Kidman opted for warmer shades of color for her glitz. She highlighted her features with firm brows, dark lashes, and a soft peach color that warmed up her lips and cheeks. The actress kept her jewellery to a minimal, which adds up to the look.

The star has been walking the red carpet for years now. She always handles unexpected circumstances with wit. While presenting an Oscar to casting director Juliet Taylor, Nicole Kidman realized she was too tall for the microphone. Surprisingly, Kidman removed her black high heels mid-speech. She continued her presentation barefoot, handling the situation with ease and grace. Thus, the moment showcased her professionalism and quick thinking.
