Sharon Stone opted for a white plunging gown for the 2024 Governors Awards. The full-sleeved piece featured structured shoulders, with one side being adorned with a bedazzled dragonfly brooch. The center also included subtle piping starting from the plunging neckline, which cascaded down to the floor-length skirt. The upper section of the bodice gave a loose appearance while being body-fitted below the chest.

Stone styled the elegant piece with a metallic silver handbag, which matched the dragonfly brooch. The 66-year-old further accessorized the look with diamond earrings and matching rings. Meanwhile, the “Basic Instinct” star opted for a minimal makeup look and wore just a pink eyeliner and glossy lips. Stone was also photographed alongside Evgeny Afineevsk, Kevin Goetz, and Neil Goetz on the event’s black carpet.

In recent years, Stone has thrown herself into her art. Last year, she displayed her first East Coast exhibition titled “Welcome to My Garden.” During an interview with CNN, Stone said that she gets “in this kind of trance” as she gushed over her painting practice. The film icon also shared in a statement that she created these works in the exhibition “to understand the essence of pure creativity that comes from heartfelt truth.” Stone added, “To let go of the noise, the judgments, and the pollution of our societal pulls.”

Earlier this year, Stone displayed her fourth exhibition, “My Eternal Failure,” in San Francisco, which was an ode to the city where the icon’s life fell apart. She explained to WWD, “I’m retracing all the things that happened there and trying to paint about my story.” Stone’s attention continues to remain on art while she also shares her passion on social media.
