Photogrpaher Stéphane Sednaoui shot Italian top model Mariacarla Boscono for a surreal and visually striking Numéro cover. The November issue of the French edition shows the high fashion icon surrounded by surrealistic elements and effects, wearing a gorgeous Lanvin gown from the Fall 2013 collection .
The cover pleased non-fans and Mariacarla’s hardcore stans alike and received mostly positive responses on the tFS forums.
“She is one of those models I will never get tired of. Stunning, can’t wait to see the editorial,” noted GarageGlamorous.
“Beautiful, phenomenal, striking, stunning and cinematic. These are the adjectives I came up with just looking at the cover,” gushed Kanna.
TREVOFASHIONISTO called the cover “gorgeous” and justaguy loved it and said that it is a “beautiful shot of [Mariacarla]”.
Indeed, the cover is unique and powerful. Mariacarla looks mesmerizing and ravishing and to me this cover is on a whole other level. Other forum members also pointed out this was unlike most Numéro covers.
“I adore this, it’s a departure from the usual headshots that make the cover,” wrote atomicblue.
And LRlovesDaria encapsulated, “This is obviously the best Numéro cover of the year, the queen is coming to amaze.”
