The first few posts from our forum members seemed to hold promise for the cover. “I think this is a rather alluring cover. One of Anne’s best in a long time,” shared AL92, kicking off the discussion on a positive note.
“Love it! Subdued sex appeal. The best she’s looked in a while. A triumph for ELLE!” raved Benn98.
Also an admirer of the cover was honeycombchild, who commented, “Wow. I love it. It’s about [time] ELLE upped their game. This looks really strong.”
“Wow, this is sensational. It’s really fantastic, the best cover ELLE has had in a long while and I love Anne as well. Even though I hate their design, it’s not irking me here as much as usual. Great job all round,” proclaimed a more than satisfied LastNight.
Things started to turn sour, however, when Miss Dalloway pointed out a very evident mistake: “Whoa, so no one will mention the obvious Photoshop fail on the left eye? What is that!!! Otherwise it would be a great cover, it’s a fantastic shot.”
“I love her in this kind of styling but ever since the left eye disaster was mentioned, I can’t stop looking at it!” replied Cosmic Voices.
“Is it possible that her right pupil shrank because it was more exposed to the lighting?” questioned gazebo, yet another member to acknowledge the Photoshop mishap.
