It should come as no surprise that our forum members are loving the cover. “Amazing! I love it. Cool layout that doesn’t distract from the image. I like the pose and the covered eye,” complimented kokobombon as soon as the cover surfaced.
“Loving this cover. The lighting and the colors are so appealing,” agreed TREVOFASHIONISTO.
CATO was also clearly an admirer and echoed, “That’s what I call an outstanding and splendid cover! Applause Vogue Germany.”
Also enthusiastic was Nepenthes: “YES! This is what a Vogue cover should feel like! Everything works perfectly and I’m thrilled for Vanessa!”
“I’ve said for the longest that Vogue Germany has more appealing covers than the rest and this is proof!” raved Breathless.
“Now that is Vogue. That is what a cover should look like!! Holy!! Everything is perfect. Even the layout!!” enthused MON, agreeing with everyone else.
For the sake of variety, not everyone was so ecstatic. “I can never tell what year we’re in with Vogue Germany. Their covers seem to exist in some sort of time warp where the year could be 1985, 1995, 2005, or 2015. The cover could transport itself to any of those years and it would still fit perfectly OK [on] the newsstand without raising an eyebrow,” posted A.D.C.
Forum member thecpatient fired back: “Wow, I like it! It looks like some cover from [the] 80s or 90s.”
