As expected, forum members flocked to the thread to voice their excitement. “Such a different approach to previous art direction! I like it, very sultry,” admired kokobombon.
“I love it, the approach and Rihanna is just perfect,” expressed TeeVanity in agreement.
Sharing the same sentiments was Moofins: “I’ve always loved Dior’s Secret Garden collections. This is no different. I love it. Such a different vibe for Dior, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing.”
Benn98 was also fond of the campaign. “This is quite stunning, I’m smitten with the fantasy component. Exactly what I thought it would look like. The second shot looks the best to me at this stage. Though through it all I cannot help but feel it’s the exact antithesis of Dior under Raf. The garish excess, hyper-glamour and mystery. Looks more like a Galliano campaign to me,” he noted.
“Looks good but it doesn’t feel like Dior, I don’t think Rihanna is the perfect Dior woman,” posted pivoslyakova, adding a completely different opinion.
Also left confused was gossiping: “Huh? Givenchy maybe, not Dior. This is not in line with their brand. Weird.”
“Doesn’t look bad, but I am terminally sick of Rihanna everywhere. I would have never expected her for Dior. Ugh,” disapproved niknak.
