Forum members flocked to the thread but are shockingly underwhelmed by the casting. “A weird combination of models… Lexi doesn’t belong. Should’ve been OG with Gisele or someone who could handle something like this,” littlekiki announced.
“I wish Kate Grigoreva was in the campaign instead of Lexi. She would’ve fit better,” simon suggested soon after but later returned to add, “They didn’t have to look far. Natasha Poly and Kate G. looked the best on the runway wearing this collection. Those two would have been such a great duo for this campaign. Or even Natasha alone.”
In agreement was gossiping. “Ew! and Lexi? She’s NOT a Versace girl, I agree Kate would have been awesome.”
DutchHomme wasn’t impressed either and ranted, “Bland & boring. Those are not Versace girls. I want sexy models for Versace!”
“Wait, why Lexi? She looks so out of place and not Versace at all. Trentini by far is the best cast for the womenswear shots here,” fluxxx approved.
“Funny that neither of the girls has ever worked with Mert & Marcus before. They always found a way to feature their favorites in Versace campaigns. That said, Karlie and Lexi are not Versace girls. However, I’m glad they feature modern day models now. No Kate, Gisele, Daria W, Madonna, etc. It feels a lot more current,” appreciated anlabe32.
