“Another stellar cover from The Gentlewoman! Very striking shot, she’s such a beautiful girl and her stare is amazing,” enthused Wolkfolk the moment the cover dropped.
“Amazing cover and an amazing actress that deserves more work and exposition. This magazine hardly ever disappoints, looking forward to the content,” anticipated an excited mistress_f.
Also raving about the cover was kokobombon: “It’s very striking in its simplicity.”
Forum member GIVENCHYlover soon admired, “She looks so weird and interesting at the same time.”
“Really strong cover, Saoirse does look a bit weird, I think it’s the stare. The styling is great too,” commented jescajade in agreement.
ThatGuyPaul was a fan, too, echoing, “Lovely portrait. Can’t wait to get this!”
Although not all of us were left jumping for joy. “Hmm I’m not sure I feel this. Perhaps I’m used to the magazine using more refined styling. Her shoulders do looked hunched up, though. It’s hard to beat Saoirse’s The New York Times T Magazine cover and ed by Paolo Roversi. In any case The Gentlewoman is my favorite magazine, and I can’t wait for previews,” shared t-rex, as signs of criticism started to flood in.
