Members of our forums had mixed views toward the cover, however. “Lea Michele cannot pull off looking sexy. It’s a shame too because the intent is actually pretty sexy,” expressed a disappointed justaguy.
“It’s not sexy to me. It’s boring!” declared narcyza soon after.
Also not entirely feeling it was HeatherAnne. “Remember those lame girls at your high school who used to try to model, and this is what their shots were styled like? Yeah,” she laughed.
Forum member 8eight failed to show enthusiasm, too, discrediting, “I’m all for magazines doing different covers, but this brown room with wood and fur is terrible. Awful cover.”
Yet everyone else was left delighted. “They have been trying out some ‘unconventional’ cover images, and it works. I don’t know much about her, or her new show (not interested), but this isn’t as bad as I imagined,” confessed Miss Dalloway.
“I love this!! It’s so different, no mainstream glossy would dare run a shot like this for a cover. Plus it looks warm and inviting. Again, kudos to Marie Claire for breaking the static mold,” applauded Benn98.
