Members of our forums were loving the new direction. “Very Vogue Paris x Carine [Roitfeld]. I like that they’re trying something new. It’s daring. I like it,” applauded MON straight away.
“Oh I love it. She looks great, fierce cover!” declared jexxica.
In the same frame of mind was justaguy, writing, “Great cover and kudos to getting US ELLE! She looks great here.”
RanThe also didn’t mind to sight of Bella. “Nice to see Bella getting the cover treatment for ELLE since she had an editorial in the magazine every month since last year it seems,” he commented.
“She delivers every time, stunning,” TeeVanity commended.
“A simpler art direction would’ve done wonders for this image, she looks stunning regardless. This is a pretty big deal because ELLE doesn’t really do a lot of model covers. Good for her, she deserves it,” supported Benn98.
But the cover wasn’t to everyone’s taste. “She’s done some good editorial work for this magazine, so I’d be happy to see her on the cover, it’s just a pity that it does her body no justice. When you prefer the sight of your own backside to the one you’re seeing on the front of a fashion magazine, you know there’s something awry,” mocked tigerrogue.
Marc10 wasn’t much of a fan either, disapproving, “Her body looks so weird there, like they tried to stretch her torso around the waist area. The cut of that unitard is too high also… its just not working.”
