To say our forum members were underwhelmed, would be an understatement. “It looks very simple. I would’ve hoped they’d have done something with Jean-Paul Goude,” sighed Lola701.
“Too easy and simple,” added a far from overwhelmed Nymphaea.
Also deflated by the outcome was mepps, snarling, “If mommy and daddy weren’t Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, she wouldn’t be anywhere near a Chanel campaign. There’s nothing interesting about this little girl.”
“Nicole Kidman, she is not,” laughed Street_a_Licious, recalling Kidman’s glorious campaign from 2004.
“This ad makes me noxious,” informed an uncomfortable Sweet rus.
“It does?” responded Benn98. “It’s too plain and forgettable to have any effect on me. This is Chanel, not Calvin Klein! Also, it’s about time her image gets properly transformed. This is basically her normal look,” he pointed out.
La veronika wasn’t feeling the casting either. “I think her face is interesting enough to appear in many campaigns and commercials, but not at a Chanel level. I agree that it’s her parents who made this campaign possible. However, Lily has a much more versatile look than most young girls working today,” she reasoned.
