It’s safe to say that magazine covers have been a total disaster this month. “Literally no redeeming feature for me whatsoever. And it’s odd that Testino managed to make his own work look like a cheaper and inferior version of the original. It’s as awkward and overwhelming as his Vogue China cover,” disapproved Benn98.
“Testino’s imagery is outdated to the point of being cartoonish. Who still thinks that a pant-less woman sitting on top of a man is ‘sexy’ or ‘fierce’? And to make it worse, whoever cast this story is insane,” Marc10 chimed in.
Forum member zoom wasn’t exactly ecstatic, either: “Seems anyone can snag a cover nowadays. Which is OK as long as they look great and the images work. This latex plastic disaster looks like a sideshow at the carnival. Rough in every way. V Magazine needs an update and Testino needs a break.”
Sharing the same attitude was EstefaniaAbaddon, commenting, “Who cares about the kids, this is just another Testino fail.”
“Terrible, just terrible. Nothing about any of this is redeemable. The awful cast. Testino looking amateur again. Ugh,” wrote a dumbfounded SpeakThatJDunn.
“Poor Taylor. The girl is beautiful but she’s absolutely wasted in this,” pointed out a horrified liv4beauty.
“Uh… Well… At least Taylor looks good?” deemed a stunned lelaid.
