Members of our forums weren’t feeling it. “So, she is back at being sophisticated again. Louis Vuitton and Dior should switch their spokeswomen. Jennifer Lawrence for Vuitton and Léa [Seydoux] for Dior. The bags…uninspired and tacky. The Dior logo worked in 2000-2004,” Lola701 said at once.
“The bags and the first coat are ugly,” added abstraccion.
Also not a fan of the handbags was zoom, stating, “Can’t get past those bags tho…”
TaylorBinque was in the same frame of mind. “The level of Photoshop skill is worse than an intern. As much as the direction seems to be good, these bags need to go to trash. And those monogram bags deserved their own campaign. I was hoping they would do something fun,” he wrote in disappointment.
In agreement over the apparent airbrushing was testinofan, crying out, “Too much Photoshop, and the photos look very Paolo Roversi.”
“I hope she gets fired now that Raf [Simons] is no longer at Dior,” stated Wintergreen.
“It’s getting worse every season. She is NOT a Dior girl,” agreed narcyza, feeling the same way toward Jennifer’s contract.
