Stuart Weitzman doesn’t like to change a winning formula — and we have proof. Kate Moss was the face of his namesake brand for a number of seasons, followed by Gisele Bündchen who repped the shoe brand for several campaigns. Most recently, Weitzman has embraced the industry’s ultimate It girl, Gigi Hadid. Returning for her third consecutive Weitzman campaign, Gigi once again goes solo in the newly unveiled Spring 2017 spots. Per usual, the pictures were lensed by master photographer Mario Testino, who ultimately stuck with Weitzman’s signature black and white imagery.

After multiple seasons with the same concept, our forum members are yearning for change. “Every Stuart Weitzman campaign with Gigi is beginning to merge into one another! Why bother releasing new shots season after season?” questioned a disapproving Benn98.
“If at least the shoes were worth a campaign,” laughed an unimpressed Lola701.
“Second shot (below) is okay I guess, but the first one is just weird,” described sixtdaily.
Forum member vogue28, however, disagreed with the majority: “One could argue Stuart Weitzman desperately needs to switch up the aesthetic next season, having delivered the same type of campaign season after season. But why change a winning formula? This direction clearly works for the Weitzman brand and I’m certainly not complaining. I have been fond of Weitzman’s direct and clean advertising campaigns since day one and I’m loving that first shot of Gigi in the boots. A total thumbs up from me!”
