If there’s one thing our forums love to see, it’s models on the covers of fashion magazines. Over the past couple of months, we’ve noticed a decline in models on the cover of Vogue Australia, but it appears the glossy has heard our cries and enlisted the expertise of 90s supermodel Cindy Crawford for March 2017. A random, yet much-welcomed sight, Cindy was photographed by Emma Summerton looking ravishing in red Christian Dior.

Surprisingly, our forum members were unimpressed. “Wow, what is going on with Vogue Australia? This is just so try-hard, from styling to everything really!” cried Miss Dalloway the moment the cover struck.
“The direction of this cover seems to be all over the place. I don’t get it,” added a confused Nepenthes.
Echoing the same sentiments was Benn98: “Yikes, for a supermodel this pose is terribly desperate! No wonder Cindy never gets as many covers as her peers nowadays. She lost it! But that’s not all that’s wrong with this cover. There’s also the styling against the cacti, and Emma Summerton (who failed yet again, IMO). What is going on at Vogue Australia?”
GreyVetiver agreed, writing, “I used to love Vogue Australia, but the past several covers have been disastrous.”
“What. The. Hell. Is. This,” shared a dumbfounded HeatherAnne.
“It’s like they’ve hired someone who works as a Janice Dickinson impersonator, but who’ll also do Cindy if the job requires it,” pointed out tigerrogue.
Also finding Cindy unrecognizable was DutchHomme: “Cindy is a mix between Caitlyn Jenner and Alessandra Ambrosio here. The cover looks like Vogue Taiwan.”
