Just about every magazine has their favorite cover girl and V Magazine never hides the fact that Lady Gaga is their lucky cover charm. It should come as no surprise to see Gaga covering the title’s recently unveiled edition for Fall 2017, the Music Issue #109. The songstress, whose documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two comes out in September, was photographed by Hedi Slimane for one of his signature black and white portraits. But the burning question remains: how many more V Magazine cover appearances does Lady Gaga need?

Members of our forums are getting tired of seeing Gaga. “God how many times has she covered this magazine? I know she’s friends with the staff but geez…” ranted Marc10 the moment the cover dropped.
“I feel like this magazine only puts Lady Gaga on the cover, then sometimes it’s some teenager I’ve never heard about and then back to Gaga. Not interested, I think it’s probably been a decade since I last bought an issue of this mag,” wrote mistress_f.
“Gaga again? Boring!” versustito complained.
Also noting Gaga’s overexposure was fee de foret: “I think she has been on 95% of the covers since 2010!”
KissMiss shared the same sentiments, writing, “This magazine never interested me. Sadly, the image is very boring.”
“Kind of comical to me that both V and W Magazine have blonde pop stars for their September issue, both with the tag line ‘Listen Up!’ and both make me want to go deaf and never purchase either magazine again,” snarked KateIsGr8.
“I like the composition and gold foil accent, but why her? New album or film? Because she’s as passé as this magazine to be honest. The hair and expression looks awful, and it’s a pity the shot looks like one of Hedi’s best,” reasoned Benn98.
