Russia has had a fairly successful string of covers over the past year, managing to secure the likes of Natalia Vodianova, Irina Shayk, Birgit Kos and Marine Vacth. The final cover of 2017 stars Argentinean beauty Mica Arganaraz, the current face of Michael Kors, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. Mica poses on the studio floor wearing sparkly Louis Vuitton while sporting her signature curls.

According to our forum members, Mica’s hairstyle seemed to bring the cover down. “Someone do something with her f*cking hair! She’s a g*ddamn model for Christ sakes. I’m tired of this sh*t,” fumed A.D.C.
“Trust me. Once the hair goes. She goes,” added liv4beauty.
“She’s really one of those girls whose success perplexes me. They tried to be festive with the gold accents, but it failed. Mica is completely wrong for this, and I’m not sure what’s happening with her torso. Fail!” announced Benn98.
Feeling the exact same way was zacatecas570: “I don’t understand Mica, I’m just so sick of her and that hideous hair!”
Also unable to fathom Mica’s success was 333101. “The number of covers and work she books is not proportionate to her talent as a model, clearly,” she pointed out.
“I was hoping it could be a great festive cover. Although I’m a not a fan, I was hoping she would look different than usual. But there is no expression, the hair is always the same and it’s a boring cover,” snarled KateTheGreatest.
Gazebo had hoped for a festive cover also. “Give me the red, give me the green! Give me lumberjack wood! Not this limp looking thing. I so long for a real cliché Christmas cover!” he pleaded.
Here’s hoping there’s some stimulating content inside the issue. In the meantime, join the conversation here.
