Both the American edition of Marie Claire and actress Reese Witherspoon have been doing great things lately and, therefore, it’s only natural the two paired together would be a good match. The magazine impressed last month with Hailee Steinfeld channeling her inner Brooke Shields and Reese’s last newsstand appearance on WSJ Magazine was proclaimed a favorite cover of 2017 by the tFS forums. Reese looks radiant and angelic in white Proenza Schouler on Marie Claire‘s March 2018 cover, shot by Thomas Whiteside and styled by Alison Edmond.
Surprisingly, the cover received mixed feedback from forum members. “My most favorite March cover out of the US monthlies, hands down. I am loving Reese Witherspoon lately and love how fresh, light and airy this cover feels. The coloring is beautiful and I love the white sleeve. After last month, Marie Claire‘s on a roll. Another thumbs up from me!” vogue28 approved instantly.
“I love this! Love it!! Its looks so relaxed and very fresh! Stunning. I’m biased toward Reese though, but still. The best March cover so far,” added MON.

“I like it, but why her? They should have called Claire Danes,” said ghostwriter10549.
Apparently, Reese’s latest wasn’t to everyone’s taste. “Looks like we are back in 2005! This image does nothing for me, nothing. I thought they were still trying to go indie? Guess that didn’t work out too well,” noted Benn98.
“Haha! Seriously, This looks SO dated, smh!” forum member Miss Dalloway laughed.
“Given her facial expression, even she doesn’t know whether this is a good idea,” tigerrouge chimed in.
“2018 covers have been horrific,” declared jal718
