Kim Kardashian continues to commandeer newsstands worldwide and now makes her debut on the cover of ELLE for April. It’s hard to believe the social media phenom has never graced the cover of the American title before, having already appeared on US Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour. Photographed by Boo George on a Malibu beach for the occasion, Kim wears a metal mesh crop top from Jeremy Scott and a pair of Yeezy black leggings in the newsstand cover shot (below) while working the heck out of Balmain and Yeezy in the striking black and white cover preview (after the jump).
One cover, in particular, stood out to our forum members. “I love the black and white so much,” voiced caioherrero straight away.
“The second cover is what I’ve been hoping Vogue would do for years. It’s such a great shape shot,” favored Benn98.
“She really is good at print,” RaniyaAlsharif noted.
But not everyone was into it. “Why?” asked jal718, suggesting Kim wasn’t exactly an ideal cover subject in their view.
Sharing the same sentiments was SallyAlbright. “No idea why anyone would put her on any cover, but the B&W one is fine,” she reasoned.
“She’s not done yet? What else can she possibly talk about that we haven’t heard already? With that said, I really like the B&W cover,” echoed liv4beauty.
“She looks terrible with blonde hair and all her photos need to be in B&W. That’s where she shines, other than that I’ll pass on buying this issue. The B&W cover is pretty considering you can’t see her face. NEXT!!” declared RanThe.
