Our forum members have been complaining lately about how lame and redundant Numéro magazine has become. The French publication used to hold an extremely high standard amongst its competitors, but the covers have become increasingly lifeless and lackluster. Well, the magazine must have finally heard our cries as it brings out the big guns for Issue #192 April 2018: a fierce Naomi Campbell to regain our attention. The original 90s supermodel gives us everything we need and more in the black and white Peter Lindbergh-shot cover.
Or does she? The cover ultimately left our forums divided. “Classic and beautiful, I simply cannot fault this! And for once the choice to go black and white actually works,” admired Benn98.
“Gorgeous,” wrote Miss Dalloway upon seeing the cover.
“Can you go wrong with Naomi and Peter Lindbergh? Beautiful,” 333101 stated.
Naomi’s latest wasn’t catering to everyone, however. “Happy that it’s by Lindbergh but it looks like an outtake,” pointed out KateTheGreatest.

“For me it’s her worst cover. She looks like a wrestler,” slammed Nocturnal.
“I wish she was looking at the camera,” anlabe32 sighed.
Ghostwriter10549 felt the same way, echoing: “Yes, me too, this would have made this cover more impactful, but I like what I’m seeing here anyway.”
“I actually like that she’s not looking at the camera,” happycanadian fired back. “It gives a pleasant softness to the photo that I think wouldn’t be there if she were giving ‘fierce Naomi’ eyes straight to the lens. This cover is stunning. I literally said wow aloud when I saw it. She looks astonishing for her age (well, for ANY age, let’s be real). Love everything about this!”
“Beautiful cover,” versustito added.
