Our forums have a love/hate relationship with UK Harper’s Bazaar, often calling out the magazine for producing the same aesthetic over and over (while loving the title’s signature direction on some occasions). As the magazine world thankfully begins to unveil their summer covers, British Bazaar‘s May 2018 cover shoot seems to have taken place during a day filled with warm sunshine. Photographer Agata Pospieszynska captured some models running about a field in the countryside: Bibi Abdulkadir, Saskia Ingham and Charlotte Lindvig join forces in the playful newsstand cover (below) while Bianca Redmerski goes solo on the subscribers cover (after the jump).
Members of our forums were keen to discuss Bazaar‘s latest. “Stunning! So dreamy, yet with a distinct summer mood,” admired Benn98.
“I like both covers but the newsstand cover is just so dreamy and interesting, I’m glad they took a chance on that image,” kokobombon added.

“Despite everything showcased here being more or less the same old from British Harper’s Bazaar, you cannot NOT applaud Justine Picardie for putting out a newsstand cover with an unconventional, bold and visually appealing cover shot like this. Nice one, Justine!” applauded vogue28.
MON was quick to show the cover some love too: “Edward [Enninful]’s diversity issue [of British Vogue] is SHAKING! This is exactly my point! A diverse cover without having to use it as a selling point. Bridal Issue, plain and simple. Just effing beautiful.”
Miss Dalloway, however, wasn’t buying it. “These covers are so clueless to me, they try to hard at making ‘effortless’ images, but it’s never that, just insipid covers that are not even part of the conversation. They might sell well (for them), but they are nowhere near in the league of Vogue, so I doubt anyone is shaking in their boots over this,” she fired back.
“Newsstand cover looks nice on the shelves,” honeycombchild confessed.
