Karl Lagerfeld is known for giving his muses all the plum advertising campaigns he photographs. However, after last season’s disappointing Fendi campaign starring Vittoria Ceretti and Taylor Hill, a new cast is ushered in for Fall 2018. Lagerfeld welcomes back old favorite Abbey Lee Kershaw (a much-welcomed sight considering his past choices), who is joined by Adwoa Aboah and Gigi Hadid for the studio-shot campaign.
A certain someone is clearly the campaign’s saving grace, according to our forum members. “Wow, Abbey made it the best Fendi campaign in years!” praised GreyVetiver the moment the campaign dropped.
“Abbey Lee Kershaw’s a nice blast from the past! She sure does make for a refreshing choice of Karl Lagerfeld’s for an advertising campaign nowadays. She looks terrific and kudos to the hairstylist because Abbey’s hair looks downright gorgeous,” vogue28 said.
“Abbey’s Fendi hair is truly giving me life. There’s not enough room for the other girls here, this is Miss Kershaw’s show alone,” added zoom.

“Nice surprise to see Abbey Lee! Quite a nice change for Fendi,” echoed 333101.
Forum member thatsfierce agreed: “I missed Abbey so much, I’m really to see her in the campaign, she looks fantastic!”
“Abbey showing the rest of them what a professional model looks like,” laughed Elite13.
“Exactly, none of them have the skills of Abbey, she’s basically just standing there and looks better than all of them in their best photoshoot. This campaign should be just Abbey,” voiced zacatecas570.
Sailor couldn’t have agreed more: “This really should have been with just Abbey. She looks cool, and her poses make the campaign. This is the difference that someone with modeling talent and experience could make.”
“Perfect. This collection deserved a campaign like this: clean, unpretentious, commercial and bourgeois without forgetting the fashion approach. Abbey could’ve handled the entire campaign alone,” noted forum member ghostwriter10549.
