Kate Moss is always a good idea. Whether she’s fronting one of our favorite fashion glossies or starring in a campaign for a mega fashion house, we’ll take it. Jimmy Choo is the latest to tap the Brit icon for its new In My Choos collection with Kate appearing in the footwear label’s Pre-Fall 2020 campaign. In stark comparison to Steven Meisel’s ads featuring Kaia Gerber, Kate looks every inch the English beauty (with a little help from Kate Phelan) captured roaming around a 17th-century country manor in Northamptonshire, England for the Tom Craig-shot photos.
The campaign sparked debate on our forums. “The outdoor shots remind me of her U.K. Vogue cover, the controversial The Rolling Stones one that never made the cut. But the boots are ghastly. In fact, I find Jimmy Choo shoes to be ghastly in general, except those strappy pink stilettos. Those look perfect on her feet,” commented Benn98.
“It reminds me of her British Vogue shoot, too… Looking at the styling, they should’ve cast Kylie Minogue instead. Are they really trying to sell shoes?” asked MDNA.

“Whoever was responsible for Photoshopping her legs did a horrible job. What is happening in the first photo?” questioned avonlea002.
Also left unimpressed by the outcome was Urban Stylin: “They made her look like some wealthy cougar.”
“Not Kate’s finest moment, even I can admit that. The images evoke nothing, are nothing we haven’t seen before and just bring a whole lot of nothing to the table overall. A terrible and unforgivable waste of Kate Moss,” disapproved vogue28.
“I love the pink shots, I like the wingback chair shots and the rest are passable,” KINGofVERSAILLES chimed in.
