We’ve gone without Gigi Hadid down at newsstands for what feels like forever. But leave it to Anna Wintour to bring back the forum favorite for her first post-pregnancy cover appearance. After a disappointing pair of Kamala Harris covers last month, Gigi brings fashion back to the forefront for March 2021. Photographer Ethan James Green and stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson come together to mark Gigi’s long-overdue first solo outing on the American fashion bible with the new mom outfitted in a look from Prada’s Spring 2021 collection for the elegant cover shot.
Gigi’s comeback was a hot topic on our forums. “Finally! I’m very happy for Gigi, it’s about time she got a solo cover. And a beautiful one at that! I love this. The colors are very nice and I like that they switched it up with the masthead…” admired aracic.
“Finally a solo cover! I can’t believe it took this long,” added HodanChloe.

“I love this! At least this is fashion, which is what we expect from Vogue,” said Flamingjune.
But not everyone shared the same sentiment. “A huge fan of both Gigi and Ethan James Green and despite the thread title being enough to make me go weak in the knees, the outcome is surprisingly dull, empty and lifeless. The makeup and hair do Gigi no favors and everything feels…static,” declared vogue28.
“Can’t say I like it. I hate it that you can see they lifted Gigi’s head from another shot onto this one,” mentioned mikel.
“Strong word, but I hate this. Also the amount of body Photoshopping is unsightly,” echoed dsamg.
