The fashion industry seems obsessed with Blackpink. It didn’t take long for major French fashion houses Celine, Chanel, Christian Dior and Saint Laurent to pick band members as brand ambassadors. In a bid to dominate newsstands across the globe, Rosé currently stars on the cover of Vogue Australia. Now Lisa takes to Vogue Japan for June 2021. Affiliated with Celine since September 2020, the rapper, singer and dancer naturally dons looks from the brand’s Spring 2021 collection for two covers both captured by Kim Hee June.
“Boring and unwanted. Typical Seventeen-ish covers,” critiqued balmain1914.
“These are quite boring, especially compared to last month,” noted kokobombon.

MON also noticed the excessive post-production: “That’s her? The way that they airbrushed her face is ridiculous! The makeup doesn’t fit the concept as well. Basic styling as well. It’s too literal. I wish they explored with her more.”
“I like her and the styling, but the airbrushing and laziness of this are ridiculous. A total bore, nothing is happening, no concept or emotion whatsoever. Pretty, but a total waste of an opportunity,” dontbeadrag pointed out.
“I know she’s a Celine ambassador, but perhaps they could’ve just been more playful about it,” said PierreGotha.
