More often than not, anything photographed by Steven Meisel is declared an instant success on our forums. Now that Meisel is officially back on the books at Miu Miu, we’re all for it. Meisel returned to photograph the brand’s campaign last season following a five-year hiatus and is back once again for Fall 2021. Emma Corrin also returns (for a third time) as the face of Miuccia Prada’s namesake label going solo and holding her own in the sleek and minimalist campaign images complete with styling from Lotta Volkova.
“This was a good collection, the styling is actually well done and Emma does pull off most of the looks. But I can’t help but feel underwhelmed by the photography, seems pretty low-scale in comparison to last season,” noted GERGIN.
“She looks good, the clothes look good, but it lacks the magic touch,” agreed YohjiAddict.
“I see what they were going for…but it’s not there,” voiced dior_couture1245.

“The styling and backgrounds are great, but Emma’s pose ruins every ad…” VogueGirl8910 chimed in.
“I like everything about this but Emma…her expressions are sooo bad,” said kokobombon.
Marc10 felt underwhelmed, too. “The collection really doesn’t translate off that gorgeous mountain from the presentation and into a studio shoot with a plain background. Jazz it up please.”
“Somehow this reminds me of Miu Miu’s Spring 1995 campaign with Drew Barrymore,” declared cottonmouth13.
“I am beyond thrilled to see Meisel collaborating with Miuccia again! Hopefully their collaboration at Miu Miu doesn’t stop anytime soon,” added aracic.
