We’ve been obsessed with British ELLE this year. Farrah Storr has knocked it out of the park with a series of stunning and buzzworthy covers starring Gemma Chan, Alva Claire, Ramla Ali along with Michaela Coel. As Storr’s tenure comes to an end, Lily Collins helps close out 2021 by gracing the magazine’s double December 2021/January 2022 edition testing out a new look in the process. Captured by Danny Kasirye and styled by Aurelia Donaldson, the actress sports a white Chanel Cruise 2022 dress plus a blond pixie in the dynamic cover image.
“Looks VERY amateur, the Photoshopping is comical and the Michelle Williams hair doesn’t work for Lily. They should’ve kept her recognizable for all those Emily in Paris fans,” noted Benn98.
“She’s not pulling off that look, not even a little…” added axiomatic.
“Well, it’s quite a talent to make someone as beautiful as Lily Collins look quite so bad,” declared honeycombchild.

“Oh god, what were they thinking?” asked SLFC.
“What on earth? What is Lily doing with her hands and why? The hair is atrocious and the makeup is worse! And the angle? Total fail. Complete embarrassment,” said dior_couture1245.
“Even photogenic people don’t look good from that angle and there’s zero hint of anything ‘festive’ other than the cover lines. A missed opportunity because even people who don’t like fashion love to dress up for the holidays,” proclaimed tigerrouge.
“Ugh, after such a triumphant Michaela Coel cover, I sat in such anticipation over this issue dropping, but what a disappointment. I find Lily Collins inoffensive, but the platinum blond pixie, the styling and questionable angle do nothing for her or this cover,” voiced vogue28.
