We’ve been digesting the newly minted Vogue France over recent months. From questionable name changes to Eugénie Trochu succeeding Emmanuelle Alt. The former continues to find her footing at the helm of the historic French fashion bible. Following last month’s patriotic Laetitia Casta offering, another bold cover comes our way for April 2022. Akon Changkou fronts French Vogue‘s latest wearing a look from Bottega Veneta’s Spring 2022 collection picked by stylist Ally Macrae for the image photographed by Anthony Seklaoui.
Members of our forums aren’t sold. “I just can’t get over all the people thinking ‘yep, this looks great’ and publishing it. Yikes,” said a disapproving blueorchid.
“This is garbage. Several issues in and it’s still a miss,” added Ghesquiere32.
“Has anyone ever seen a major publication disintegrate this quickly? It’s only taken a few months for this magazine to lose all relevancy and credibility. An absolute travesty,” GivenchyHomme pointed out.

“I remember when Vogue Paris covers felt like an event, not just thrown up on Instagram on an afternoon when no one could care less,” proclaimed a far from impressed LastNight.
Frederic01 was also majorly underwhelmed: “So boring and irrelevant. This magazine has no vision whatsoever. It’s just directionless and tragic.”
“Thank god they changed the name of this magazine. Vogue Paris is still the one we love. Vogue France is dead, weak and with no soul,” voiced caioherrero.
“Well, at least we’re seeing black models represented on French Vogue now. That’s all I’m going to say as it’s the only positive note to all this nonsense,” commented aracic.
