The Tom Ford brand is adding to their covetable rooster of fragrances with the unveiling and relaunch of their new Café Rose scent for 2023. To coincide with the release of the seductive new floral scent, Tom Ford commissioned his trusted campaign photographer Steven Klein to capture the mood of the fragrance and enlists model Rianne van Rompaey to evoke the spirit. In the arresting campaign image, the Dutch beauty and firm industry favorite is shot lying on a bed of floral petals, rocking a smokey eye and nude lip combo, a head full of curls and wearing a black netted bodysuit with a black star-encrusted black bralet top, which was handpicked for the occasion by stylist Carine Roitfeld.
The campaign ignited fierce debate amongst our forum members. “It’s all just so quintessential Tom Ford and oozing glamour that I cannot help but to be instantly attracted to this. The sight of Rianne van Rompaey is simply the icing on the cake,” raved vogue28.
“Bring on the nostalgia! I love it,” kokobombon approved.
Everyone else, however, was left somewhat… disenchanted. “The result is familiar, but not something I like,” voiced DK92.
“I thought that was a heavily retouched Nicole Kidman for a moment,” pointed out FashionMuseDior.
“She looks possessed. Everything about this is really dated,” disapproved VERNIQUE.
“Wrong model, wrong outfit, wrong set design,” commented FashionFanatico.
