At the helm of Vogue Korea, Shin Kwang-ho has managed to successfully mix a blend of both homegrown talents and international faces when it comes to selecting the magazine’s cover stars. Korean stars such as Jennie Kim of Blackpink, Jimin of the band BTS and the actress Jun Ji-hyun fronted covers throughout 2023 while international faces included Lila Moss, Naomi Campbell and América González. Kwang-ho kick-starts 2024 by welcoming Lulu Tenney as Vogue Korea’s January 2024 cover girl, who poses for photographer Davit Giorgadze. Styled by Dogi Nesanir, the American model wears a fringed suit from Matthieu Blazy’s Spring 2024 collection for Bottega Veneta in the chic and minimalist cover image.

Also not exactly thrilled with the outcome was crmsn: “I don’t really hate it, but it’s not what I expected from them after their October-December covers. It’s just so… basic. Even the layout looks outdated!”
“Not the most visually-arresting Korean Vogue cover I’ve came across but compared with most other editions of Vogue, I do quite like this. The colors are gorgeous!” confessed vogue28.
