A good ol’ surprise is absolutely everything. Perfect Magazine is delivering us all that and more with the unveiling of Issue 6.5 which dropped out of nowhere and leaves us in a state of total amazement and bewilderment. The London-based publication kick-started 2024 with a supermodel spectacular, as Bryan Grey Yambo and Katie Grand welcomed the likes of Bella Hadid and Linda Evangelista onto a plethora of celebratory and collectable covers. The co-editors-in-chief invite none other than Rihanna to be Perfect‘s Issue 6.5 cover star, who reunites with photographer Rafael Pavarotti for the occasion. The multi-talented global superstar takes to the Brazilian photographer’s studio, and styled by Jahleel Weaver to evoke different characters (seemingly paying homage to LGBTQ+ icon Divine) across a trio of downright terrific covers.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“A pretty cool set of covers. I like all three,” instantly approved aracic.
“The cover with the cigarette is awesome. Rihanna doing vintage Madonna way way way superior than Madonna does her vintage self these days. Instant homage to Madonna’s supreme Herb Ritts shoot,” Phuel pointed out.
Also very much a fan was vogue28: “This genuinely feels like the most electric and most creative magazine cover I’ve seen in what feels like forever, and I’m not exactly a massive Rihanna fan. I love this! Massively into Rafael Pavarotti lately, who seems to show up to work and want to show OUT. All three covers are fantastic but I love the second the most.
“All three covers are great but cover two is a personal favorite. Not one for Rihanna but she is delivering here. I think that she looks fierce,” enthused MModa.
“Massively dislike Rihanna’s music. ADORE that first cover. THAT is my kind of fashion content,” raved forum member philophile.
