Vogue Netherlands just doesn’t give what it once did. Seven months into 2024 and the magazine has been completely hit and miss, and not even covers featuring the likes of Irina Shayk have managed to receive the approval of theFashionSpot’s forum members. The Dutch fashion bible demanded world peace with its May 2024 installment starring Stella Lucia and celebrates love with its July/August 2024 edition. Editor Yeliz Çiçek welcomes Heather Kemesky and Imre van Opstal as cover stars, who pose for photographer Cass Bird. The pair share an embrace in the portrait cover image, captured in crisp black and white.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Very gorgeous. Uncomplicated and timeless, but also modern,” praised jeremydante the moment the cover dropped.
“Just great!” heralded forum member Lovetojudge24.
“Already thrilled when I read ‘Heather Kemesky’ [in the thread title] but this goes beyond my expectations. Lovely,” shared penny609, sharing the same sentiments as everyone else.
“Never been a one for Cass Bird but I’m able to admit that’s a rather lovely cover photograph, and cover overall. I like the black and white teamed with the pale pink, and the composition. All of the elements work,” noted vogue28.
Oaklee91 described the end result as “lovely” and we couldn’t possibly disagree.
