Vanity Fair is one of those publications that is either a hit or an extreme miss for us here at theFashionSpot. Over recent months, the magazine’s annual Hollywood offering (starring the likes of Zendaya, Nicole Kidman, and Zoe Saldaña), and a duo of covers with Millie Bobby Brown won us over completely. On the opposite end of the scale, last month’s Gwyneth Paltrow cover felt like a missed opportunity (of somewhat epic proportions). Next up on the cover of Vanity Fair is Sebastian Stan. The Golden Globe Award-winning Romanian-American actor poses before the lens of Norman Jean Roy as the magazine’s May 2025 cover star. Sebastian is captured on the outskirts of Los Angeles for the cover shoot, and is dressed by stylist Edward Bowleg wearing Dior in the cover shot.

“The lighting on the cover is so weird, and the grooming does nothing for him,” criticized Melancholybaby upon first look.
“I love this man but I’m hoping the cover will look better in print because he looks a little yassified here,” noted forum member Lucien112.
