Already Had a Few

There comes a point during the party when you’re craving more cocktails but aren’t in the best condition to make them. My signature summer cocktail — vodka lemonade — can be dressed up if you’ve still got your wits about you, or concocted super simply if you don’t. It’s great with a citrus vodka like Smirnoff Sorbet Light Lemon Vodka, but you can use plain vodka too. Here’s two versions.
Fancy Vodka Lemonade (Makes one 2L pitcher)
- One bag of lemons — about 9
- One cup of water
- One cup of sugar
- One Cup Smirnoff Sorbet Light Lemon Vodka
- Mint leaves (optional)
- Squeeze the lemons (yes, I do this by hand) until you have one cup of lemon juice.
- Boil the cup of water and stir in sugar until dissolved, creating simple syrup.
- Muddle mint leaves in the bottom of the pitcher, add other ingredients and fill pitcher with water.
- When pouring into glasses add a lemon slice and a few fresh mint leaves for garnish. So refreshing! Barely tastes alcoholic so watch your consumption.
Lazy Vodka Lemonade
- Half a gallon of lemonade
- One Cup Smirnoff Sorbet Light Lemon Vodka
Mix. Give your sober friend your keys.
