During the holiday season, we’re all about giving tips or small gifts to the people that make our lives a little easier. But with the current health crisis, it’s more important than ever to show our appreciation to all the essential workers that are keeping the world going. The best part? You don’t have to spend a fortune to give thanks.
From the nurses, doctors and other health care workers battling COVID-19 to the grocery store employees and food delivery people ensuring we have enough to eat, there are lots of people that deserve our gratitude. Before giving anything, check with the worker or the place they work at to make sure they’re allowed to receive tips or tokens. And try to give to as many unsung heroes as your budget will allow. We’re talking teachers, police officers, mail carriers, bus drivers, garbage collectors…you get the idea.
As part of our #WeSayThanks campaign where we pay tribute to all the essential workers out there, we complied a gift guide with great options at truly affordable prices. (You can recognize all their hard work for as little as $8.) See the slideshow above for thoughtful gift ideas to show all the essential workers in your life some love.
Join Evolve Media’s #WeSayThanks campaign to show support to essential workers and thank them for their selfless acts of kindness and heroism. To learn how to get involved, please visit https://www.evolvemediallc.com/wesaythanks/ for more information.
