The Glam Guide To Miami
Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach
As far as value, it's hard to beat Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach . It's centrally located minutes from Lincoln and Collins (central hubs for shops and restaurants) and very close to Purdy as well (where you'll find a ton of healthy shops, beauty destinations and workout studios). Plus, it's two minutes from Fresh Market and Trader Joe's. The rooms are clean, modern and given that it's a new hotel everything is sparkly and clean. The service is also very friendly and they have free coffee and tea in the lobby. Plus, a beautiful rooftop pool with cabanas.

Jaya at The Setai
Another "must" is Jaya at The Setai. The best pecking duck in Miami, Jaya is unique in that it's always packed but not painfully loud. The trendy crowd packs in as early as 630PM and lingers well into the night. Here too you'll want to reserve in advance and ask to be seated near the water as there is a show with dancers and performers.

Barry's Bootcamp has two locations in Miami. In a sea of options it still remains the best.
Valet Tans
Everyone told me that Valet Tans was the best, and now I understand why. They come to you to spray you down with a fast-drying solution that not only doesn't smell, it glows - literally glows. I've done countless spray tans and none have left my skin glowing the way the one from Valet Tan did. It also lasted a lot longer than most - after a week it still looked great.
