The career of one of Elite Model Management’s new faces, Karlie Kloss, is off to an amazing start, to say the least. This 5’11” American beauty, who hails from Missouri, absolutely cleaned up at NY Fashion Week this season. Having appeared in a total of some 68 shows this F/W season, everyone quickly got to know this girl and her unique walk, which has no doubt been enhanced due to her affinity for ballet.
On top of her multiple fashion week appearances this season, she even opened, closed, or both at some of the shows, such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, Carolina Herrera, Alberta Ferretti, Just Cavalli and more.
Karlie is not only tall and graceful, but her stunning face also sets her far apart from others. With beautiful, piercing eyes and powerful features, her look is undeniably strong. While her expressions are intense, her golden brown hair and emotive hazel eyes leave much room for softness and versatility. At just the age of 15, Karlie has already appeared on the cover of Teen Vogue, shot by Patrick Demarcheller.
In addition to the runway success and getting her first cover, she’s also already gotten a few major editorials under her belt, photographed by the acclaimed Steven Meisel and Mario Sorrenti, for Italian Vogue.
She’s already made her way into S/S 08 ads campaigns for Nina Ricci and Pringle. She may not be the only new face currently sweeping the industry, but her talent and potential are undeniable. With time, her look and skills will only improve, which is almost hard to imagine because she’s already such a force to be reckoned with. This is just the beginning of a successful career and we’re more than glad to be in for the ride.
