Like Cynthia Rowley, Diesel Black Gold designer Sophia Kokosalaki was inspired my mirrors and reflections this season – the runway even boasted light-reflecting silver panels. This translated into a parade of metallic looks that included shirts, skirts, dresses, shorts, cropped pants, and more. While this could have easily made for a tacky showing, in Kokosalaki’s hands they came across as refined and wearable.

Perfectly styled, a number of looks paired metallic bottoms with crisp white shirts or loosely tailored blazers for looks that balanced the fashion-forward with classic Diesel bread and butter. Speaking of bread and butter, the jeans this season included cuffed at the bottom fitted blue ones with a slight sheen for a more utilitarian alternative to the reflective metallics otherwise on display.
