At its core it was business as usual at Missoni – and why not? Given that the launch of their Target collection caused the retail giant’s website to crash it was so overloaded, Missoni clearly has a formula for success. Their signature knits, prints, and zig zags of color were all over the Spring 2012 runway, unfortunately this season they took on a Spanish fiesta-meets-gypsy queen feel. Ruffles, fringe, and tassels decorated tiered skirt and off-the-shoulder tops and dresses, many of which included multiple textures and fabrics in their construction making for complete visual overload.
