Unlike the print, gothic, and black-heavy collection many may have been expecting, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci showed a clean and tailored line-up inspired by mermaids, surfers, and other sea-loving creatures. The inspiration came through strongest via the tightly fitted pants, undulating fabrics, tightly packed sequins, and peplums, all of which made for a collection that while a bit repetitive at times was nothing short of stunningly beautiful.
