Alexander Wang
It was business as usual at Alexander Wang’s pre-fall show, which was rife with chic sportswear. Unlike past seasons, however, where silhouettes tended to be on the looser side, many of the looks this season were sharply tailored and fashioned out of men’s fabrics. Wang was at the forefront of the mesh trend last season and he once again brought it back, namely via mesh-accented footwear.

A balance of youthful exuberance and pinned-up elegance, Giles Deacon’s pre-fall line-up included a variety of tightly fitted separates, pleated peplums, tuxedo suits, structured coats, and a colorful print, which Deacon drew on his iPad, that made its way onto silk pants and a shift dress.

Herve Leger
It seems there will always be a set of women who won’t tire from the bandage dress and so Max and Lubov Azria delivered just that for this season’s Herve Leger collection. One has to hand it to the duo, however, as they never cease to come out with fresh twists on the now classic look. This season brought contrasting stripes and new necklines, as well as leather and belt accents.

Yeohlee Teng’s collection ranged the proportion gamut and included some fantastic voluminous outerwear and fitted separates with laser cut detailing.
