Paris’ newest couturier, Giambattista Valli, showed a stellar line-up rife with his signature bold colors (namely red), animal prints, and vivacious use of fur. Floral and graphic prints also made their way into the collection, which mixed loosely draped, very feminine silhouettes with more stringent, angular ones.

Louis Vuitton
Fur abounded in the prim and proper Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall collection, which was fittingly inspired by a Disney World ride. Cuts veered on the conservative side and shapes were kept angular and while there were some playful prints in the mix, the most memorable looks featured fur accents, which showed up everywhere from skirts to coats to shoes.

Effortless, but always chic Rebecca Minkoff has her on-the-pulse target demographic covered this season with leather peplums, leather skirts, fitted trousers, dainty minis, and bright pops of color (namely turquoise).

With no replacement for John Galliano in sight, the house of Dior is being led by the brand's design studio. Fittingly, this season’s collection was kept clean, simple, and relatively safe with ladylike fitted silhouettes and neutral tones dominating.

Moschino
Always playful, this season’s Rossella Jardini-designed Moschino collection features the brand’s signature bold stripes and tongue-in-cheek humor with, for example, the word “elegance” draped around one of the model’s necks. Fur accents are proving to be a major trend in this season’s collection and for Jardini’s part, she opted for a similar effect on a playful woolen two-piece look.
