Jil Sander
Bust out your old High School jersey because preppy boarding school dressing is back, if Jil Sander designer Raf Simons has anything to say about it (think letterman sweaters and monogrammed sweatshirts, pants and dresses in fifties and sixties silhouettes). Also in the line-up were oversized monochrome coats and shrunken jackets with words including “Faith” and “Eternal” emblazoned on them.

Salvatore Ferragamo
With chic wide brim hats, belt bags, and an abundance of luxe fabrics including snakeskin, cashmere, and suede, this season’s Massimiliano Giornetti-designed Salvatore Ferragamo collection looked more like a jet-setting resort line-up (not that that’s a bad thing) than one rife with everyday staples. A rusty color palette and argyle dominated.

It wouldn’t be a Peter Dundas-designed Emilio Pucci collection without ornate prints, opulent details, and a nod to 70s dress, but the Pre-Fall collection also included some surprisingly roomier pieces including a cozy looking fringed blanket poncho.
